cash on demand

The reviews I've read about Reynolds all seem to point one way. It's a good course, repetative, great ideas, the next modile is better etc etc.

The main vein we all want to know is whether or not it is profitable. I think it depends on the individual. We all know someone who will fail at anything involving the exercise of brain power, but will excel in walks of life that require other skills. Of course there are those who will never aspire to anything.

My business involves complicated legal rubbish that requires 'pooling' of resources with friends and former work bods.

With this reynolds chap, perhaps a few trusting individuals should share the costs and get ideas floating about. If there are gazzillions to be made, surely no one is going to mind sharing a slice of the action ............ I doubt it though.

If you can spare 10 hours a day, have a bank account of 20k....... try abitrage. You'll make money but you'll have to work very hard for 8%-12% on your bank balance per month. That's what they say..... and I'm living proof it can be done. Wife wasn't impressed with my computer time though.

Good luck to all who are trying the cash on demand.

As you say, it depends entirely on the individual. We are being led (very slowly and gently) by Andrew Reynolds to sources for Cd's, courses, manuals etc which we can purchase or supposedly get free (are they then rubbish ones??) .

If Andrew Reynolds has made so much money out of his courses, and I find the videos
not well spoken or mind blowingly addictive (try someone like Frank Furness, motivational speaker, for someone who really knows how to get 100% attention from his audience), then I sincerely believe that a few serious intelligent people could indeed get together and make some really good material.

I've got some ideas flying around, but ultimately guess it is trust from other people, if working together, that is the most important. but I am certainly not the world's expert on videoing and therefore pooling experience with others could indeed be good and make the £££££££££
worldwide. Open to discussion....

Tim Lowe

Is Tim Lowe connected to Andrew Reynolds?

I received a mailshot today from Mr. Lowe, promising me vast quantities of cash for zero effort if I start paying £x per month.

the answer is yes! I am on module 5 of Andrew Reynolds course, at last am able to see how to make some money and start, but it requires a lot of work looking up products etc on internet. I am paying £30 per month for 12 months for this and am quite happy with this. It's up to me to put all that I read into practice and ultimately make some money.

I also have had a local lady come to see me who paid almost £6000 including VAt for Tim Lowe's course. She went to a one day conference near Heathrow and came away with a stack of DVD's, a manual on how to set up the business ie ordering, paying etc, and her own notes. She was lured by the prospect of earning lots of money, but is not really computer literate and there is no way she would be capable of setting the system up. We have been looking thru the DVD's some are good and are ok for re-sale, some are incredibly bad. But they are not really what one could call 'popular' subjects for resale.

Andrew Reynolds makes you think and research for the material to sell, and is pretty good on step by step how to go about it. I'd recommend his course, but you do need staying power! good luck.

Caveat Emptor

Spend a couple of hours looking through E-Bay, look at what sells and then source the products. You pick the right ones........... and you can at least pay for a night out every two weeks.

thanks for that! what about your idea on 20th Feb about a few individuals getting together with some good ideas and pooling, there is so much out there to learn about products and marketing them, and so very many ways of doing so, ultimately working together could bring forth more than if setting up and working on your own?

Anybody checked out Phil Gosling?

I bought a set of dvds of him - very reasonable at only £50 which described an excellent marketing method for own products - ebooks etc.

I'm going to his seminar on Friday about another method. I too am on Andrew's course. I'm seeing it through (on module 11 at present) but I haven't got a lot of time for the guy. He dribbles out the info far too slowly whilst pretending he's doing you some huge favour. At £30 per month I would have expected more hard hitting info and less flannel and bragging.

hope you haven't paid too much for this week's seminar. If you are at module 11, have you not yet tried out a classified ad leading to a website? After module 5 you should be able to do this, although it seems complicated for the first time you do it, I'm sure it gets easier the following times.

I will be doing so myself soon, but it does all take up a lot of reading time and looking up time.

still money never did come in a quick and easy way!

keep us all posted in this week's seminar!

Hi Claret,
Yeah I've been toying with the idea of doing an ad in the paper like that - I've done it before but with little success so I've been hesitant and want to make sure I've got everything right next time. For me, the problem has always been having a product I feel happy about promoting. I always try to see things from the customers point of view and am probably too judgemental about most product ideas I come accross - I just can't sell crap! I know I sound a bit wet but I could never sell something to someone unless I know for sure that they will get value for money - I guess it's because I've been ripped off so many times I don't want to do the same to anyone else as I know how it feels.

So that's the problem - findin g a hot product that people really want and are eager to pay for. I'm working one one at present but it hasn't got mass market appeal and is seasonal. I may have missed the boat for this year.

I'll keep you posted about the seminar...

claret I've just read your post - #140 - about getting together and creating some info. I'd be interested in that.

Hi Robplev,

There is nothing wet about being a person of integrity - good on you!

I'm on module 13 of Andrew Reynold's course &, yes, he does draw things out as well as adding a lot of padding to his writings.

I have had a stab at placing an ad in a local newspaper to take the prospect to a product page of which I was an affiliate. At that time, I had zero results, however the product may have been too specialist & the publication too local.

Having written an ebook with the intention of banging out some more, I am keen to give Andrew's classified ad method another try, however, Claret's suggestion (or was it Achtung's?), of joining forces is a very attractive one.

I'm in!

Thomcrown.

Thom,

I've never made much money yet in mail order but I've done a lot of theory and made some huge mistakes - two of them I think I share with you...

A local paper just doesn't have the readership to promote the numbers required to make two-step advertising work - I think you knew that.

Secondly, it's been pointed out to me that you can never make money with an affiliate product as your front end. They're ok as a back end once you've built your list but the whole point is to get that list first. Under the afiliate scheme you're in do the contact names/addresses come to your database or to the product owner's? I tghink they'll only come to your database if you've got your own product on the front end.

If you don't mind me asking - what was the product?

all the best

Hi Rob,

The product was an ebook on how to 'cure' asthma in one week.

Being a therapist, I come accross many sufferers, so I thought that I had identified a target market. Ho hum!

I agree witih you on the affiliate thing not allowing you to grow your own list. You have to have your own product for that.

I'm just wondering whether Andrew Reynolds would sell the licence to 'one' product, so we don't have to spend hundreds of pounds with him.

As I previously mention, I have written an ebook & have contacted a few people with a list to join me in a 'joint venture' - no luck so far. So I'm back to trying a classified web ad as per Reynolds.

Speak soon.

Stuff Andrew Reynolds Thom. He's not getting another penny off me. His Cash on demand is mainly hot air and I doubt very much that he's made money with the products he claims he has in it - I think his money has come from 'make money like this' seminars and videos. - yes he's made a pile but he's done it by feeding off people's desperation and certainly not by giving value for money.

The licences he gave with the last pack of Wembley vids were a total joke - £6,000 pounds worth? Pah I wouldn't have paid 6 quid. And as for doing that seminar to raise money for charity - it was just a sneaky way of generating a huge list to sell the videos to.

Anyway, rant over, he deserves no more of my energy.

Thom I'm working on something that could benefit you - what's your email and what is your therapy? Also, what is the ebook you've written because I heard a really nifty way of doing joint ventures last night at the seminar I went to.

Hi Rob

How's your recovery coming along?

I am debating whether to pack Reynolds's course in. Having reached module 13, it has become quite addictive, however, as you say, he dribbles the solid stuff out like his own lifeblood!

I have been investigating the best marketing method for acquiring a list. The usual internet methods - emails, classifieds, pay per click etc never seemed to get me anywhere, so maybe a few ads in magazines & nationals might get a few responses.

Anyway, let me know what your thoughts.

Take care.

Keith.

[Hi,

Articles and joint ventures is the route I'm going down for list building. I've tried journal advertising etc. in the past and got a small response. With my last website for teachers I got the best response form a few (rather poor) articles I wrote. Certainly, the experts I've been in contact with all recommend articles and Joint Ventures.

Use submityourarticle.com

Is module 13 any good? He mentions in part 12 that it will have some amazing techniques for generating instant capital. I really can't stand the little twerp - just haven't got round to cancelling yet but I think he's had too much of my money now and I don't feel I've got much back in return. It hasn't been a fair deal!

All the best,

Rob

Hi Rob,

JV seems the accelerated way to a big list +big bucks, it's getting the *******s to respond to the offers.

I mean to keep on plugging at a few of them whose ezines I've subscribed to. Writing articles is a good idea & could be a way to win the heart & minds of the ezine owners. Some of them have lists of 10 - 20K plus. (*******s!)

Thanks for the website, I''ll definitely have a look.

Reynolds's modules are so samey that I can't remember what was in No 13. I'll have a look this evening & give you the lowdown in the next mailing.

Cheers Keith.

Thanks Keith.

That's another reason I can't stand Reynolds - he's a blatant liar. I emailed him months ago asking how long the course would run for because he cleverly witheld the fact from his marketing material. He told me 12 months but obviously it's going to be something he can just run and run - squeezing every last penny from his subscribers. When I make my money and can afford to throw it away I'm going to go to one of his seminars, stand up and tell him what I think of him.

Until then I need to concentrate! :)

Good luck with those JVs. Remember the stealth approach - don't hit them with the deal straight away, everybody and his dog's doing that; just get the dialogue going by offering to introduce THEM to YOUR list first. Later you can hit them with a 60/40 split deal - once they like you.

I had a really favourable response when I did it that way last year - 4 near deals from 8 approaches. In the end it was my product that let me down but It'll be different this time!!!

Hi , have been looking at your ideas etc over the past week. surely though it's up to us to do tons of research as to the subject matter we decided to promote - as Andrew Reynolds says, it takes some time to trawl thru and search subjects that are the most popular that will sell to the largest sector of the population, and as long as we are happy about what we are promoting and it's ethical, it doesn't really matter if the subject is of no interest to us. and one moment it seems we are being told it's easier to approach the writer of the subject, the next to create a dvd ourselves, which on the face of it doesn't necessarily seem that complicated and can be done with £150 's worth of equipment.

but I do agree that it's all pretty drawn out and we are certainly having to do a lot of work ourselves, but then money never did come that easy and this game is a perseverance one and may the best man win......

Has anyone here used auction sites as a basis to grow a good mailing list because I know of others who have and been highly sucessful in doing so ?
