with the CFD you can leverage 1:20 or 1:50, while with the ETF not, at least in my broker.

The reason I asked is because there are some leveraged ETFs that have very big variations intraday. Add on top of this the leverage you can get through CFDs and you may have huge moves (plus or minus). Plus sometimes the spread is better than what you get with the underlying index or product.
