Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

That will do Guys............(y)

And out...........:)

Around 235@4

nice one, J (and Samirs earlier)

ftse opened -29 weak vs dow which was nice for my pair, then started gathering strength as it became increasingly reluctant to follow dow south. By the close ftse was +81 strong vs dow and net +52 strong on the day (ie: it would have been 5740 at the close had it kept pace with dow).

I watched a goodly part of my pair profit evaporate before I called it quits.

bought dow 12940 for a day trade...looking for a bounce around / after Europe close... but I think this likely to get test further lows (1383 ES) after some customary oversold bounce

people who have long term gains need to sell quick before taxes are hiked to stem the fiscal cliff....powers in US have no immidiate interest in propping the markets...

time to close the shop

Good falls in DAX. FTSE and DOW.
Poor German data.
From the floor in the US, heavy volume selling.
Expect more selling into year end to avoid 1-Jan tax paying.
So US should keep underperforming Asia and FTSE into year end.
Looking for ASX 4480 today, current 4465
Pay 19 point div should support any downside, with very strong support at 4440
Aus job data will drive A dollar, which in turn should drive FTSE, DAX and DOW futures.
Great trades everyone, good to see.
And its raining.:)

Gmorning all.............

Lots of Negative Press across the Board overnight from all Regions. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see a little bounce from yesterday, and then a further sustained sell off in riskier asset classes.

Patience is the key re entries...............

Morning jungerns and morning all
BHP -0.91%
RIO -1.08%
Asian markets down and no real bounce, Asia had strong close on Wednesday.
Strong jobs data pushed the AUD higher, but has now come off and back to where it started.
Keep any eye on Hong Kong into the close, might offer a trade on the FTSE or DAX at the open.
2 hours 15 min to go in Hong Kong
Also Greek vote passed am in Asia, Euro did not move.

Morning All,

No gain yesterday, stopped at breakeven.

Already DAX advanced a couple of points.
