Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? I've had these problems before when logging into some sites and this usually resolves it. Although since you tried more than one browser this might not be the case.

If you have firefox or google chrome you can download a little extension called "Ad Block". Works on youtube videos too so you don't have to waste 30 seconds on some silly car advert. I can't see any adverts on t2w. edit: appears this has already been covered
