What I meant was, there is difference between paying £2k and getting nothing, and paying £2k, getting a training course, and not being able to make money with the info. I presume Gtex were the latter? It seems there's only 1 guy on this thread who did the course, the Saffer.

Just discovered this thread. Just curious, what actually did this company do wrong? From what I understand you paid them £2k. What did you actually receive for this? Eg materials, classroom time, mentoring? And what was promised at the outset? What did you discover when you went to their...

Placed a trade before a news announcement. I guessed right, but they retrospectively deleted it, saying it was "off market", which it wasnt. I was on manual execution (2mins+ to trade) ever since after that.

Good analysis. I think the eur/usd will revert downwards again throughout the summer. All depends on what the Fed does, if they are going to weaken the dollar again.

Agree, awful firm. Win with them, and they take back your winning profit. They took back over £1k on a winning aud/usd trade before.

Not a must, but I would say a secondary income is desirable, so you can just focus on trading without financial pressures, like bills to pay.

I am interested in this service. Can you tell me on Ftse "initial margin" is £3500 per £10pt, do I have to lodge this everytime i trade, or does it only apply if i hold overnight?

Do you ever get requotes on DAX etc with any of your brokers? I suffer from this with CMC.

It is advertised as DMA. However, does FB clear through the LSE or is it just giving DMA prices through a market maker set-up? These are the only providers i can find which offer DMA: London Stock Exchange - DMA providers
