personally I use volume coming into swing points...whether it's more/less volume than previously dictates whether I feel that swing will be taken out....also usual suspects such as trend lines,ABC's etc

not so much a bear trap as volume is increasing as we approach August lows.....big question is will there be enough sellers left to break them lows...that August spike down was on massive volume,will be tough to take out initially....we'll find out tomorrow I think.... BTW Bernanke is due to...

I'd make support at 12531 Dow...1370 SPX and 1805 NDX...all cash...coincidentally the M pattern on Dow gave 12580 target and 1372 on SPX...tomorrow is last chance saloon for bulls

ndx on it's way to 1860...if 1400 1:1 doesn't hold spx that going to 1372 which will put Dow around 580 cash...keep an eye on unfilled gap on Nas Comp at 2460/66...bulls better hope for a bounce here ...volume a bit light to break the 26/11 lows at present but russell 2000 now well below those...

SPX looks as if it'll fill it's 1429/32 gap at last today
