Apologies in advance if the following questions have been asked in previous threads but I have a few queries regarding the platform so thought it would be best to ask them in one thread.

Recently downloaded the program (demo account) and have to say i am pretty impressed at the amount of available information available- (it seems- for free).

Having a few teething problems with regard to retaining settings- every time i close down the application it reopens only with a chart screen - ideally i would like to have the data window , market watch as well as toolbars appear when it is opened. Any ideas how i can retain the above settings?

As i have only been spread betting in the past (using only EOD) data i can see how more flexible this platform could be with regard to intra day trades.

Can i assume that it is possible to place trades directly via this platform to a broker?

I have heard a lot about Trade Station -(which i believe is available for a monthly fee) I would like to know what the main differences there are between the two platforms and what benefits there are with having to pay for trade station.

Finally can someone confirm that CLZ8 is the code for crude oil

I am new hear but been trading for some time, is the EOD platform the tradestation one? Is it only spread betting you will allow when selecting the platform. The platforms that have more flexibility tend to be non spread betting purely because they are aimed at one country. More world wide products would attract a bigger and feature driven platform. What do you think? in a perfect world what platform would you like to so SB??
