Anyone tried Tradefair? Their spreads look pretty good - FTSE 1 point ... Anyone recommend?

I use them. They are simply Capital Spreads but I like the concept of Betfair so am happy to use them. Never had a problem but I've only bet under £10 a pip and usually much less. I prefer ordinary brokers because all the SB companies I've used damp out the price moves.

Thanks for the feedback. What do you mean by "damp out the price moves"?

Say the actual price (as shown in MetaTrader) jumps 10 pips and back in less than a second, you are liable to get no movement at all with Capital spreads or other SB companies I've used.

This is good if it's near your stop but bad if its near your take profit!

That's because that 10 pips jump is no less than a stop hunt by these metatrader brokers !!!

Capital Spreads? no.... They "white label" other spread betting firms products at the moment, they seem to be white labelling CMC...

When did they change to white labelling CMC? They used to be a white label of LCG/Capital Spreads.

hi i had tradefair recommended to me this morning - any comments anyone?

Well I have slightly mixed feelings. Very good spreads, clear platform. However, I've gone long or short a couple of times and the order can be delayed for 5 seconds or so whilst you're filled, sometimes I've been filled 5 points away from where I intended. Also, it does not offer 24 hour trading like bigger spread betters, closes quite early in fact.

Hope that helps.

I completely trust betfair as a company so hopefully tradefair will be a good product.Yes there can be a delay and some of their spreads can be a bit wide, but overall they are much the same as the others. Some companies are offering good sign up bonuses so look around.
