I thought these links would be helpful:

NatWest Stockbrokers - £100 when you open an account! (these guys are white label of below)
CMC Markets > United Kingdom > £100 offer
£100 for TD Waterhouse account
£75 for opening paddy power account
£70 for opening a capital spreads account if referred - and your referrer gets £70 too (ask me if you need referral - my recommended option ;))

With some of the above it might be worth signing up with quidco or rpoints first as you may get even more free money.

Please add more offers if you're aware of them.

Terms and conditions apply blah de blah

Got one of these free bonuses from Hargreaves Lansdown. Done nothing with it, the £50 isn't enough margin to actually trade anything with. I think I need £100 - £150 to trade £1 of ftse with a 2 point spread. The thing is why bother ?? I can trade £1 of FTSE with just £30 albeit my £30 with CS and pay only a 1 point spread. If I am really feeling tight I can trade at odl markets £1 of ftse for about £36 with a 0 point spread.

Once you read past the free cash part a lot of these offers SUCK !

CS is a GOOD offer £70 free and they pay out . I have referred a few people and got a free £70 and I can actually use it. IF you get £70 on the CS Platform you can punt £2 of FTSE no problem at all so you really do get a free crack at spread betting.

just my $0.02 worth !! Generally there is no such thing as a free lunch although CS do fly in the face of this. No I am not a CS employee !! Just think their offer is one of the best about.

If you open an account with both NatWest and CMC, does it mean that you get 100 pounds in each account? I'm asking this because it says in above post that NatWest is white label of CMC.

I would imagine you would. Natwest have bought the engine from CMC I believe. Although from my understanding CMC staff run the platform.

It would look a bit bad if you applied for a NATWEST spread bet account and they turned around and said you couldn't have the bonus because you have a CMC account.

Once again, if anyone wants referring I'm happy to give them one.

I'll bump this thread every so often when I fancy some cash.

Not sure if it's still available, but Barclays used to have an offer, similar to the TD Waterhouse one, using the City Index platform with yet another colour scheme.

Can someone tell me if tdwaterhouse trade forex.
Have been on their site and cannot find anything relating to forex , possibly I have missed it.
thanks

you can get the capital spread offer from Capital Spreads - One Tick FTSE Spread [no need to e-mail referral] - however beware that a sign-up bonus is just something to consider - the reliability of the platform and whether the provider has the market you want to bet on are other considerations to keep in mind. Capital Spreads for instance is particularly suitable for spread betting the ftse

Yes they do but their spreads are not very competitive. USD/JPY was 4 pips last time I traded with them.

The Barclays offer doesnt exist anymore, think it was just a month offer. Most of them seem to offer something though. Just to reel in the fishes.

WS is now aka Platinum Spreads. Already have a WS account, but wonder if the '£250 of losses back' offer applies to all clients of the new incarnation?

i opened a spread betting account with ODL and if you lose the £500 over 6 weeks they will refund that money back, i.e. a free £500 to start off with and world spreads do it for 1k.

hope it helps

It's £200 Spread Betting | 200 Cashback!

And interactive investors allows you to withdraw any PROFIT - (Turned 100 into 280 then back down to 200 lol - I tend to focus on my real account, need to start looking for long term plays though).

Don't forget ShortsandLongs.com

KP08,

they actually gave me a £500 cashback offer. I signed up at the world money show in london so whether that has anything to do with it I dont know. However what you could do is ring them and say you want to open a big account, haggle, they might give you some more. deposit a large amount i.e. 2.5k and then take the money back and only trade with however much they have given you!

Hope it helps
TT

It's cool, they're my main broker. Don't think they really care about 2.5k either :).

Lucky man getting 500 for free. Damn You!
