Been having a productive weekend downloading from HQuote (ta for the tip Mystical Trader) but have drawn a blank on some symbols. Does anyone know where to find the Yahoo ticker symbols (if they exist) for US (and UK in due course) sectors and industries ? HQuote seems to use Yahoo directly for its download service.
The Yahoo ticker search engine has drawn a blank, but I have found that it doesn't always work - tickers it claims do not exist are then picked up by the HQuote download
