Xpertrader - Fraud Squad investigating Chris Pay

If you go to www.xperttrader.com you’ll find that xperttrader has already “morphed” into protrader, whose principal website can be found here: www.protrader.co.uk This site’s full of surprisingly original material – you’ll no doubt be surprised to learn? :cheesy:

Contact information is as follows:

Professional Trader Limited
1 Kentons Cottage
Brighton Road
Henfield
West Sussex
BN5 9RT
Tel +44 (0) 1636 605058

The company no is 04608378 and the records at Companies House show that the company was incorporated on 4th December 2002.

Andrew White heads the systems development team… (must be a bit of a squeeze in the office?) ……….qualified and passionate, blah, blah! :D

Of course, there may be no connection between “Protrader” and Chris Pay and his mates; although I suggest that it might be a good idea if Andrew phones Kent Police on +44 (0) 1622 690690 in order to clear up any potential misunderstandings that people may have about these matters? :)

Cheers

Ahhh ... I believe that the company being investigated was Xpertrader (one T) whereas this one is Xperttrader (two Ts). So if there is no connection between the two companies, then ProTrader must be somewhat annoyed that they will be tarred with the same brush of Xpertrader (one T).

Xpertrader.com (one T) is registered as follows:

Registrant:
Xpertrader
P O Box 234
Margate, Kent CT9 4GE
GB

Domain name: XPERTRADER.COM

Administrative Contact:
Pay, Chris [email protected]
P O Box 234
Margate, Kent CT9 4GE
GB
441843295566

Whereas Xperttrader (two Ts) is:
Domain Name.......... xperttrader.com
Creation Date........ 2003-05-09
Registration Date.... 2003-05-09
Expiry Date.......... 2004-05-09
Organisation Name.... Professional Trader
Organisation Address. 1 Kentons Cottage, Brighton Road
Organisation Address.
Organisation Address. Henfield
Organisation Address. BN5 9RT
Organisation Address. West Sussex

So I'll edit the title of this thread to Xpertrader (one T) as ragingcat has used two Ts.

Hiya Skim,

Well, it's easy to become confused about this - it seems that the "police" may have locked the front door to www.Xpertrader.com - but it also seems that they've left just about every other entry point open - try the home page , for example?

I assume this must be the same site - Chris Pay's - we're talking about here?

Regards

Mayfly

The one we're talking about is Xpertrader (with one T); the other seems to be unconnected from what I can see from the information contained on the website, the contact details, and the fact that they are operating out of a Limited company. It looks like just an unfortunate coincidence in the choice of name - bad luck, eh, to have picked a name similar apart from one letter to another company being investigated by the fraud squad!

Nice find, Mayfly, on Chris Pay's site, Xpertrader.com (with one T). He was using that old chestnut of an outrageous claim: "Betting the markets one index trader turned £1000 into £650,000 in just 17 days!" There's no statement, of course, that he did it using Chris Pay's software, although the reader is left with the implication that it was achieved with Xpertrader (with one T).

Xpertrader/Chris Pay

Chris Pay used to use Microtraders services to give seminars and promote his products. I attended one of these and he was very confident / full of him self. Amongst other things, I was put off by him trading from a PO Box No.
Xpertrader.com & Chris Pay (if this is his real name) are one in the same.

I never "invested" in any of Chris's schemes, and have no sympathy for anyone who did - the claims were too unrealistic and his arguments did not add up.

However, in Chris's defence, he has developed a very comprehensive charting programme, which I purchased about five years ago and have had several free upgrades since. He was also untill recently providing an extensive live feed - all major indices, futures, uk stocks, commodities and currencies for about £60.00 per month. I ran this alongside e-signal for a couple of months and could not detect much difference in speed.

It is a pity Chris didnt stick with supplying these tools, instead of getting greedy and making rash promises. Maybe he really believed he could turn 10,000 into 1 million, as promised in one of the emails I recieved- but anyone else who did and lost their money only has themselves to blame.

I have had dealings with Chris Paye (who IS the man behind Xpertrader) and would be interested to contact anyone who has had dealings with him over the last 2 years. I have extensive knowledge of what has happened and am not really comfortable publishing it openly on this forum. To my knowledge Chris Paye has not been convicted of fraud. (as at 14:30 on 2 July 2004.) Please email me privately.

Hi,
I have had quite normal dealings as a supplier to them and have no reason to think that there is anything wrong (but cannot vouch for the software as I have not used it). If you think I should know more before making further supplies please let me know..

Christopher Pay appeared for sentence on 19 February, received 2 years imprisonment on each charge CONCURRENT, and each sentence was then SUSPENDED for 2 years. Seems there is no cell free for fraudsters. There will be confiscation/compensation hearings against him in April.
