Work Experience

I am a University student studying for a BA in Banking and Finance at Bangor University. I am looking for some work experience within a Stockbrokers.
Does anybody know of any firms that might be able to offer me something?
I have looked at all the large brokerages like Barclays etc and they are very set in what they have to offer, I think I would benefit more from a smaller brokerage.
I can travel, either within the UK or if anybody knew of a Foreign firm that might be able to help I can go abroad.
I am happy to take whatever time a company can offer me, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I used to work for Morgan Stanley over in Canary Wharf London and they regularly used to take on undergraduates/postgraudates for work experience. Worth checking out www.morganstanley.com or trying phoning their HR department in London
