Why not, MACD with overbought & oversold ?
Have you ever seen this chart ?
I read some articles about MACD OB/OS, only talking about OB/OS but
never saying OB/OS scalling…..why ?
Is it not possible to scale OB/OS on MACD ?

take a look at when the price peaked..when exactly was the MACD "overbought"? and just how long did it stay "overbought" when price continued to go up.
Just like a stochastic, when the market is trending, the indicator stays in an "overbought" state
I have tested GSPC from 2000 to 052015 ( about 3604 data )
macd - signal < 0, almost 92.91% stay in area 0-30%, only 7.09% can cross level > 30%.
macd - signal > 0, 100.00% stay in area 0-30%, no more crossing next level.
another tested on DJI data from 2000 to 052014
macd - signal < 0, almost 94.78% stay in area 0-30%, only 5.22% can cross level > 30%.
macd - signal > 0, 100.00% stay in area 0-30%, no more crossing next level.

I'm not surprised .
It"s not easy to see MACD in different way , as we used to be.
IBy comparing the RSI OBOS & MACD OBOS, I also suprised, why the two data gave
almot same result ( RSI range 30- 70 = 93,14 ,& MACD range 0 - 30 = 92.91 ).
