Anyone like to help? A very enthusiastic 16 year old has been constantly PM'ing me for advice, and it's bloody annoying. Nevertheless, I think that this enthusiasm should be rewarded; I'm just far too lazy to do it myself.

Tell him instead of PM'ing he should just post his questions in the forum. That way anyone who wants to help can do so and also he'd get the people answering with knowledge on each particular question.

Depending on which failure is going to advise him, he could be worse off .He would probably lose more depending on whose snake oil he sucks.

If the text book stuff worked, the authors would be trading their literature.They can't make money trading , so they write books and sell a different kinda snake oil.

I think the trend will shift from TA to FA over the years in the future on the forum, but with the same failure rates. After that, there'll be less disagreements about what does and doesn't work

Trading is a lonely job and there are some good people here to give good opinions worth reading.There is always something useful on forums to refresh your thinking , although most of the the hard work can only be done by the trader. .

I am now at a stage I don't need forums, the forums are for lulz and entertainment, until they ban me.

Here is my current trade .Long euro usd 1.2767 stop 1.2740 ,target 1.2800.I might scalp around for a few pips here and there.

if you are going to learn [copy] something learn [copy] from the best you can seems safe principle.
