Which is MAE?

MAE could be taken from entry, which is "close" for me and is it difference from the lowest price or difference between highest and lowest price in a trade?

On this picture is a different situation... Is mae the biggest difference in the ongoing trade? Or it's just the difference from the close (which is entry)? I don't know...

or this picture... If mae is difference from close (entry) it's very short this time. If mae is the biggest difference its value is completely different.

MAE = Maximum Adverse Excursion.

Worst price trade reached minus entry price.

A Low MAE vs a high MEA means the lower is better at predicting upcoming price direction in favor of the trade.
