where to begin.....

I am an experienced investor who is looking into trading full time. I am researching trading programs, software, blogs, forums etc.....I have come across Traders International.com and wondering if anyone knows of their company, good or bad, opinions etc..Where do day traders begin? What are your suggestions. Are there any schools, or companies that are reputable, I feel like just about evertything I have found is a scam, it makes me feel like I'm buying a bad used car or a time share in the swamp.........Please help.http://www.trade2win.com/boards/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

If you haven't cut your teeth on trading yet, you probably should hold off on the whole trading full-time thing unless you have a seperate source of income. Getting to the point of becoming consistently profitable can take a while. The first questions I always encourage traders to answer before they give any thought at all to laying out money for an expensive course is 1) What timeframe? and 2) What market? Give both questions serious thought. Once you have the answers you'll have started building your foundation and can move on to answering the next level of questions.

I have been using the investools method for several years and have learned the basics of stock trading, both long and short, reading charts for mostly mid to long term trading, 1 week to a few months, sometimes longer.
I have found in this choppy volatile market that I am tending to trade more short term and it is leading to day trading. I like stocks, I tried options but did not do well with them.

I'm wondering if there is a source of information that professional traders use the most.
Also trading education, platforms, ets.... Or is that all very personal choices.

What traders use depends totally on their needs, and that is definitely a personal thing. Since you have some education and experience now, you should have an idea of where your short-comings may be. That would be the place to fill with education. As for platforms, etc. there are so many available. It comes down to what provides the information/tools you specifically need and what you feel most comfortable with.
