End of the Bear?

Looks like the markets have decided the bear is behind us? I don't see any reasons to expect a bull market but I've begun buying shares again. It was a good feeling to actually start buying something after so long.

I'm not really expecting a substantial rally from these levels, but I get the feeling that the bottom has been and gone. For instance, I missed out on BP @ 350 and BARC @ 315 this time around and VOD sub 80p last time. But BARC @ 350 is starting to look like a good decision (Just got £650 in dividends too).

I just don't see how newsflow could push these markets lower. We've had 9-11, 3 years of economic recession, Gulf War II and SARS and we're still around.

There is a Gap that needs filling at 1165-66 in the compq, now that says to me lower prices ahead, but when ?, and how low ! some say nas sub 500 in this drop poss dec. 03.
