Where can I find information about metastock data?

I mean, Metastock works with esignal right? So it uses esignal data, so If I want to use metalstock I will have to pay for esignal as well? Is there any free data out there? Thanks alot.

Some versions of MetaStock (the eSignal versions) can attach to eSignal.

However, MetaStock can also attach to other sources such as any MetaStock format data provider plus Reuters Data Link.

There is free data available but you usually get what you pay for.
