Whats Wrong With Sub Sectors And Ftse 350?

Please could someone advise me on the reason why its hard to find spread betting firms and traditional brokers that will trade the ftse350 & sub sectors "electricity, utillities , tobacco etc" .thankyou for your time :p

1. there has to be a sufficient number of people wishing to trade the above.

2. There must be the potential for profit for the bookmaker in the above. ;)

Thanks Neil , I guess your right , although i can see the potential for profit , it still needs a whole load of " bigger boys" to make it important .

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, have you tried IG ? I regularly trade sectors and haven't had any problem doing so. Just go into the dealer screen and select 'Indices' from the drop down.
