Hey guys I love this site. What is the best thing to trade with low capital for e.g. Forex. Options , futures, etc. I have about £5000.

Also I have done a bit of spread betting in the past and realised I had to bet a min of £1 a point on IG index. What is a good platform that you bet like 10p a point. If these exist lol.

What are all the possibilities of ways to trade. Is there a list for e.g cfd's , futures, options etc.

Thanks guys much appreciated!!!

I fired up my first Spread account with£100 took it to about £300 then blew it.
Then a futures account with $1,000 K doubled it and withdrew to cover other things.

Finally put 2k USD in a futures account and have not looked back. Though I would suggest you start with at least $3,000 in futures and keep the rest as reserve.

Trade 1 lot on ES use a simple Keltner set-up $100-200 a day. Job Done

For 20 pounds margin you could trade, for 1 pound per point, even 50p per point for 10 pounds margin, US Tech on Finspreads. You'll go a long way in a long time, but it may be better than demo trading. You can trade out of hours for a 3 point spread from the UK open, which is deadly slow but, once Wall Street opens the moves get more interesting. Watch for spikes after 1330 UK time.

I, unashamedly, have used this one, myself. It goes with the FT index and the 3 points spread can be, easily,
made into a few pounds profit if Ftse has a good morning, which can be used as stop money when the serious part starts after the open.

To answer your question properly. Finspreads ( I'm not shareholder or salesperson!) has an academy that I have not used but those who enroll can trade for 10 per point for a few weeks. You'll have to ask for all the details. Go for the hundred quid they offer, too! :)
