What to trade in the uk mornings

I currently trade the nyse and nasdaq shares in the afternoon uk time, and do so because there are many to chose from which gives better opportunities. I would love to be able to day trade the uk shares or maybe German shares. Can this be done,it looks to me like the uk shares would be to exspensive.I currently trade the dax, bund and euro, but need more to chose from. What other options are there for us lonely day traders. Thanks

There are some other currencies you can trade in the UK mornings, apart from the Euro, you know.

I trade futures and options in the morning. CAC40, DAX, ESTX50 and Z

I trade Eurex Futures in the morning - The Bund has a few big issues at the moment tho.. so if you are not used to traded a highly liquid market start on the Bobl

You could do CFDs on UK shares and get the other side of the spread.
UK doesn't tend to do much lately though.. it seems to jump either up or down in the morning and stay flat all day after that
