SuSe Linux on both workstations. Metastock via VMWare windows 2000 guest OS.

Alienware ALX 4ghz P4 exlusively for trading and testing

RedHat Linux for trading and testing. Considering moving to Debian or Fedora.

Hybrid Thread

Traded up from Apple II, seven ThinkPads and all sorts of machines in public places when traveling.

Now its a Powerbook G4 (not on your list), with 2 gigs ram, 15" screen, wireless. It travels with me everywhere. And I do mean everywhere.

I thought I'd run a poll on the types of machine people use for trading.

As long as you still have your brain intact the machinery really does not matter.
