In your experience what are the best pairs to trade, and why?

I've only traded currencies twice, via SB. £/$
I took a short on the daily with a close stop loss and a 20tic target and a long on the future at the same time with what I felt to be appropriate limits.
Bothtrades closed out within two hours with a 20tic profit on the daily and 22tic on the future.
I've not repeated the experiment 'cause I'm too scared that it was a fluke.
