Volume on Metatrader 4

Hi I have just noticed you can display volume on Metatrader charts by right clicking on chart and selecting volume. My question is : what is the source of this? as far as i know there are no volume figures for spot forex, so what is this volume, and is it accurate ?

Volume in MT4

Hi Iqbal,

double Volume[]
This function returns a double type value holds the average of the total amount of currency traded within a period of time, usually one day.
For example: Volume [0] will return this average for the current bar.
