What is the source of Volume on the charts with Metatrader 4 on FXCM? Is it the trade volume of FXCM:s own customers only? Or is it collected from other brokers/exchanges?

The volume you see on your MT4 charts is actually tick volume. That is the amount of times the price updated (ticked) in a given time period on your platform, so the data are specific to FXCM. MT4 uses this as an approximation of real volume.
