Vista and the UAC

Hi,

Question for the tech minded here.

I have vista and the UAC is bugging the hell out of me. I understand why its there but...

I have spybot and AVG (free) running and use firefox with internet explorer disabled.

As far as google searches go, the biggest reason for the UAC I can see is with IE so I'm assuming, with the spyware/malware/virus malarkey running as I have, and not using IE at all, it'd be pretty safe to disable the UAC?

Any thoughts.....

In my view it should be disabled permanently as it stops you doing so many things and I have had nothing but trouble with it when working on colleagues pc.
