My favorite MT4 broker, ODL Securities is closing their USA office due to the ever complicating NFA requirements. They have the capital requirement, however are tired of dealing with NFA and are selling their USA base to FXCM. I would like to be able to trade on ODL UK, hoever they do not allow USA citizens. I want to use an MT4 broker that is regulated and offers forex, indices, commodities, cfd's. Activtrades is my first choice and ODL in the UK is my second choice, but being a US citizen I am not allowed to trade with these firms. At one time I traded on UK ODL through and a Swiss introducing broker. can anyone reccomend an introducing broker that will allow me to trade with Activtrades? I looked at FXPro, but would prefer a UK firm.

Have you considered at Alpari UK. I dont have an account with them myself but a few traders I know who live accounts with them have no complaints.

I have considered Alapari, however they do not offer commodities and indices, also they are UK based and UK brokers can not take USA customers on due to UK laws. I could use a swiss introducing broker to a UK firm, however I do not know of any.

Why dont you try easy forex, Online Forex Trading| Easy-Forex, they are regulated in the USA have offices in New York and Chicago, they are regulated in the UK in the Eureopena Union and in Australia. They have fixed spreads guarantee stop loss, they also offer the MT4 platform with mini lots aswell however you must specifically request this. They offer 3 pip however with deposits above 10k they will give you 2 pip fixed. I lile these guys because opf the great customer support, always willing to help you out even if it costs them money.

Looking for a UK broker not a Cyprus broker that does not allow one to withdraw his funds. Stay away from Fxpro. They make it almost impossible to get your money out and they are the king of requotes.

Hi Dale,

FXCM UK accepts US residents and has MT4.

FXCM started beta testing the FTSE 100 CFD contract this week on a select group of MT4 accounts. If all goes well, it will be released on a wide-scale. (CFD's not available for US residents due to regulations).

MT4, is highly overrated, though MQL is very extensible - which almost makes up for the lack of logical function inherent within the MT4 trade management design functionality. It seems to enjoy a really good following in FX among novice and/or newbie traders and a fair amount of skilled traders.

If you are based in the U.S., there are U.K. FX Intermediaries that you can trade through. Two that come to mind are:

London Capital Group (LCG)
City Credit Capital (London)

LCG offers some of the best FX platforms available with household names. CCC, offers its own in-house coded FX platform. LCG, offers a number of instrument types to trade, including FX pairs, Equity Options, Spreads on Indices and Commodities. CCC, I believe offers FX pairs and CFD. Both are U.K. based and have U.S. based traders.

As always when dealing with any Broker, read their Broker Execution or the so-called "Best Execution" policy statement and make sure it fits the regulatory requirements - at the very least. Not every instrument will be available to you if you live in the U.S.

Study Well. Trade Smart. Profit Always.
