Hi,
I currently trade Ftse 100 intraday, and I'm considering looking at the US markets.
Can anyone suggest an appropriate exchange.
Your comments would be most welcome.

Also have a look at the thread link under my signature. I've been trading US stocks full time for a living since 1999 and just that one method alone - strictly adhered to - will be profitable.

Thanks for the replies Mr Charts, I'll look at your threads in a bit more depth over the weekend.
If you don't mind me asking, why do you trade US stocks as apposed to the UK, is there a specific advantage ?

Spreads, commission, no damp duty, execution brokers far way ahead of Uk, bigger moves and more readable than uk stocks, and the us Market leads, whereas uk follows. There's a clue there that can help your swing trading

Perhaps you could point me in the right direction regarding brokers, minimum account balance etc ?
Are there any special conditions relevant to dealing US stocks ?
Are there things that one should know which is different to UK trading ?
Your comments and advise would be most welcome.
Thanks
Davie
