Europe is signing it's relevance into oblivion. For Europe to have any voice on the international stage it really needs Russia imho.

I agree with this paragraph totally.

"Instead of engaging in an honest dialogue and building a shared architecture of security in Europe, European countries have been nourishing Russophobic sentiment in Ukraine, setting it against Russia, caring little about people’s lives and future, consistently torpedoing the negotiating process. And they are continuing to do this," he added.

Europe should now be able to see that the US is not a true friend or partner. It is indeed a liability. It will not change after Trump either. This is fundamentally, because there is NO DEMOCRACY in the US of A.

Super-power of the world offers up Biden or Trump as the only two potential runners in an election. Just who were the people supposed to vote for. Biden was followed up at the late stage by Harris, who's knowledge of US politics was zilch. She would say and do anything to get elected. Hardly a leader.

US democracy is owned by corporations and essentially by the Jewish lobby and the zionists. No one can run for president without the jewish lobby backing so whatever they do, they are owned by these money men and democracy is merely some deception to the people. This is why every US president has and will always support Israel's foreign policy, to the detriment of all Americans and the ME. At least whilst they can afford it. As it stands once the dollar standard goes, US debt will have to be faced and US influence need to come to terms with their defecit to earn their way.

So what role part is left for Europe to play? Follow US lunacy and demise or forge peace with Russia and her neighbours to insert the union back into some form of international significance.

Spot on At',
What you say is so blindingly obvious to me (and to you too, presumably!), but it appears we're in a minority in this country and possibly throughout the west. Why aren't any politicians or MSM outlets voicing this eminently sensible and pragmatic view? Given that just about everyone agrees that our system is broken, I'd have thought that there would be a far greater thirst for change with growing numbers of people putting forward alternative ideas and suggestions to get us out of the quadgmire of brown sticky stuff we find oursleves in. But no, all we get is the same ol' divisive rhetoric: Zelensky good, Putin bad. Israel good, Iran bad. USA good, China bad etc. When will this broken record stop repeating itself?
🙁

Putin is warned he faces being toppled in a revolution in astonishing parliament speech by one of his most loyal servants as Russia's economy tanks

A Kremlin veteran has delivered a stark warning to Vladimir Putin, saying that his leadership is at risk of being overthrown due to mounting regional tensions and a deteriorating Russian economy.

Russia's Communist Party leader, Gennady Zyuganov, made the remarks in a speech in parliament, where he claimed that the government preferred to listen to 'influencers from Monaco' rather than to the concerns of its own citizens.

The Putin loyalist was referring to Monaco-based Russian blogger Victoria Bonja, who recently hit the spotlight after criticising Russia's leadership for implementing an internet ban across the country.

She also addressed how four years of war with Ukraine have battered the federation with rising food prices, higher taxes, and inflation.

Zyuganov said that these are issues that have been discussed in parliament for a long time, but the government is not paying attention to them.

Although Zyuganov's party, the second largest in parliament, is the main successor to the Soviet Communist Party, it has long backed Putin and his core policies, offering carefully-calibrated criticism of the ruling United Russia party.

He urgently warned that failure to adopt new policies immediately would trigger an economic collapse comparable to the 1917 communist revolution, leading to widespread chaos and mass uprisings across the country.

Zyuganov was careful not to blame Putin personally, appearing to take aim instead at the government, the central bank, and the ruling party, whose ratings are under pressure according to state opinion polls.

Russia’s Economy Defies Predictions of Collapse Amid Sanctions and Industrial Growth

Military-Industrial Complex as a Driver of Economic Growth

Western "analysts” portray Russia's economy as dying and soon unable to finance the special military operation or social programs. They further suggest that this would lead to public unrest, the removal of Vladimir Putin, and ultimately the division of Russia's resources by Ukraine and NATO.
...

Living Standards in Russia and EU

Russia currently has high employment in well-paid sectors and historically low unemployment at around 2.4%. The military industry has absorbed available labor, while mobilization and relocation have tightened the labor market, pushing wages upward and increasing purchasing power.

The average salary in Russia is around 103,000 rubles. In the EU it is approximately 186,000 rubles after taxes. However, in countries such as Hungary it ranges between 74,000 and 83,000 rubles, while living costs in Europe are significantly higher — often by 1.5 times.

This places living standards at a broadly comparable level. When has such parity ever existed before?

...
Claims of a weak Russian economy are largely political narratives. Western predictions of imminent collapse function more as psychological messaging than as accurate economic analysis.

European leaders are lost in the wilderness detached from public will.

Same as Ukraine. Negotiated peace is the only way forward. Giving Ukraine more money and weapons will simply be a total waste of time, money and more lives.

European stupidity is limitless, doing the same thing expecting different outcomes.
