Some bad times ahead for the US and things will indeed get worse with 35Tr $ollars of debt. Inflation should be pencilled in for a decade or two as that is the only way that debt will be cleared. When there is inflation, there is a lot of income distribution and hardship on many who can not pass price increases or maintain incomes. As with other empires if the US gets more violant and tries to maintain dominance through gunship diplomacy, then the end can be considerably worse.

I really do think and believe we will have a seismic paradigm shift and Creative Destruction in the next 10-20 years. Worst case scenarios I have are:

1. Nuclear war
2. Chemical war
3. Robot wars aka AI

Best case scenario is for the US to recognise it has the ability destroy without the ability to forge relationships with other nations. That's what you get with an egomaniac in power who says US 1st in everything MAGA.

I've been stunned to hear the yanks didn't take kindly to "Bad Bunny" stating God Save America and then listing all the other countries from South to North America. How freaking unbelievable is that? Some people think God is only there in the heavens for them and no one else. Delusion has no limits I guess.

They're trying to sell it to us on a daily basis! To paraphrase: 'Putin must be stopped - otherwise his soldiers will soon be marching down Pall Mall'. Every day MSM wheel out some useless military dimwit who says Putin only understands force and we have to arm ourselves to the hilt to take him on. It's the same ol' playbook: ramp up the fear far enough and the plebs will form an ordertly and compliant line and do anything the corrupt regime tells them too.

On that note, if Netanyahu and Trump are mad enough to attack Iran (again), it could get very ugly very quickly and draw in other state actors. You can guarentee the west will highlight any support Iran gets from China - and especially from Russia - and use this to stoke the fear, justify miltary spending and, ultimately, taking on Russia in a hot war.
