TS8.1 data export

Does anyone know if you can export TS8.1 data to ascii text?

Yoou may be beter posting that to the TS forum. As far as I am aware you can only import ascii data.
There are dll's that allow you to dump data into excel and as such you may be able to pull in historic data that way.

Thanks twalker. I do not have a password for TS forum because I am still thinking of subscribing.. I like the low commissions but I use some other programs to analyze data and need to ascii export. On another note I wonder if TS keep track of winning trader habits...hmmm... now that I think about it I better stay stand alone.

There are several ways to export data to .txt in TS. Some are contributed code, others are 'built in'
Some are real time, some are batch...
