From reading the Forexfactory thread this doesn't seem to be a viable strategy. From what I understand, it works on some months with good volatility giving tremendous gains. Other months the author, Vladimir Poltoratskiy, has supposedly admitted to people who have corresponded with the author (according to the thread I posted above) , that you can lose 50% or even blow your account. The question to ask yourself is why the author has several books:

on various book sites at low prices when he could be making money by trading the strategy himself...

I remember looking at this strategy in the past and this is more of of a "woulda coulda shoulda" strategy.
