heres 1:

"too many cooks spoil the broth" => don't let anyone else make decisions for you

and 2:

You can alsways tell an inexperienced cook because they are always "adding"... salt, oxo cube, tomatoe paste, chopped basil, olive paste, anchovies, blah blah blah. they are trying to avoid being wrong early on and screw up the whole dish as a concequence
