I believe so, and am doing it. But my advice is to stay away from day trading and don't concentrate on one single product.
Trade fundamentals.
Go beyond trading from charts and 'proven systems'. They don't work in the long run.
Do a buffett or a soros and delve deeper into the issues and factors that impact a market. Then formulate your view, figure out both your exit levels and trade that view.
Run your profits to your expected levels and then review the trade. Take profit, reduce the size or run trailing stops depending on your analysis.
Stick with your stop outs, don't chase your losses. And taking profit never hurt anyone
Don't let FEAR or GREED take over. Fear is the mind killer and greed clouds your judgement.
