Frequently I read posts from angry punters complaining about spread betting firms. Capital Spreads and CMC Markets being the biggest offenders.

While the FSA seem to like boasting about putting little joe bloggs the mortgage consultant out of business over a few dodgy mortgage applications AKA "Liar Loans" the Big Boys seem to always get away with it. IT being theft and immoral practises.

The question is, because these Financial Institutions sponsor the FSA does this mean that "He who pays the Piper calls the Tune"? How can the FSA work or act in the Public's best interest if it is supported by the very villians that are shifting the poor man and woman on the Clapham Omibus?
