Does anyone know/have an opinion about Sunbirdfx? Their web site sunbirdfx.com is silent about how/if they're regulated. The attraction is their 'no dealing desk' claim, but something doesn't quite feel right. Any wisdom gratefully received.

There is a discussion about them on FF. It's the usual story, no sign of being regulated, at least one address seems to be a virtual office etc. Why risk it?

Why indeed? If you know any 'no dealing desk' possibilities which are regulated and not requiring a huge account balance, I'd be glad to hear. In any event thanks for your quick reply.
 
I am trading with Sunbirdfx for 4 months already and quite happy. Yes its true that they have no dealing desk and no requotes. Excelent customer service by the way.. ah and i did withdrawal once and i got my money in my account after a couple of days.(y)
 
Hello everybody I just open an account with sunbirdfx after trading with etoro for a couple of years and its true sunbirdfx dosnt have a dealing desk or requotes and they have mt5 demo and soon real.

There are about 3 genuine posts in this thread - the rest is spam by sunbirdfx, pretending to be clients to try to drum up business.

When you see a firm resort to such tactics you know to stay well away.
 
I dont really have got any issues with the executions or withdrawals and getting my money (knock on wood lol ) so far so good I cant complain..

I had been trading with SunBird Fx since July 2011.
At first, this broker was very good. stable server, quick deposit funds and withdrawal... Withdrawal of funds to the credit card was executed by the next business day, I had been able to confirm it within 10 days.
But now, after 3 weeks passed from my withdrawal request, I can't confirm withdrawal yet. Even though I contacted them, I didn't obtain a satisfactory answer. Until I confirm it. I will continue to update this review.

And who would they be (plural)? Please don't say it's 'confidential' because getting authorised for a financial firm is hardly secret news. In fact for an online FX shop they should be singing the fact.

I am very surprised that traders are still doubting to trade with brokers that are not regulated yet after what happened to Refko and now to MFGlobal, the regulation cant guarantee you anything.

YOu make a very good point there Sara even if you're (probably) shilling for Sun Bird. However, at least MF Global had the decency to put their address on their website, Sunbird doesn't and anyone who deposits money with a financial firm who won't reveal their address is a moron.

I received a call from the credit card company, I had a confirmation of payment.
I think SunbirdFX ran properly refund processing.
However, They were uncooperative for my query about refund.
I think there is a cause that my contact person is a sales representative.
He is making an effort to be credited from the customer, but he is cold to the customer to withdraw.
I think contact person of the withdrawal funds should be in the back office.
