This is the thread to enable you to tell the FCA your views on their proposed changes in Spread Betting.

This thread will give you more information on the proposed changes.

This is the link where you can have your direct say to the FCA's by completing a simple online form.

This form is for retail traders as well as companies - so if you are a retail trader when the form asks you for your company name just enter N/A.

Then afterwards Please bump.

that's a shame - it's going to make it difficult for Mr sb to rake all the money in an easy way

On the contrary, an increase in deposit would ensure that they have the money from the losers ( who are 90% of their clients at any one time )

The FCA are a waste of space, too many people that work there have no clue about spread betting and the problems clients have with brokers.

Aint that the truth, and yes a f-----g waste of space. FCA are good for nada, like the SEC in USA

play at places not UK regulated

Best solution

I'm lining up some alternatives to SB with UK firms in case the regulations come in.

But sending money outside the UK sounds scarey - who are you with and what's your experience with them?

This is a difficult one, because l doubt you are covered outside UK, although ADS was highly recommended to me by a friend in Australia. I doubt he would use them if they were risky as he is handling hundreds of millions through them.

They are based in Singapore but you would have to do your homework, if you want to know more.
