I just asked them to send me a copy of the activities or transactions file from their IG account, awaiting an interesting excuse as to why they cant.
Our “excuse” for not granting access to our company trading account is exactly the same as any other financial company would give if they were asked for access to their house trading account – that it is a private account, with raw and confidential data that is not intended for distribution to the public.
Like ourselves, other financial trading companies - such as fund managers and discretionary stockbrokers - publish complied summary figures of their trading performance, and rely on prospective customers to trust in the integrity of those figures.
If one was to ask a fund manager or a stockbroker for access to their company trading account because they don’t believe their published figures, I very much doubt they would be prepared to do so, and the situation is no different with ourselves.
If a prospective customer chooses not to believe the figures we publish, and to not purchase any of our products on that basis, then that is of course their prerogative. And with some high-profile financial scandals leading the headlines of late, that is perhaps an unfortunate inevitability.
One of our existing customers, aware of the challenges we face to overcome prospective customers’ natural suspicions, kindly wrote us the following testimonial recently to publish on our site (which we will be doing in due course):
I have come across many systems over the years on the internet and most promise the holy grail which if you have any experience in the trading game you know is just simply not true. The team at simplespreadtrading.com are refreshingly honest in what can be a mercenary business.
They present you with a simple to execute but very clever system based on what the smart money is doing. If you understand the mechanics of the market you will realise how clever the system is but be amazed by how simple it is on the surface.
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity in any way, as this has been cleverly thought out by guys that know what they are doing. There is no ambiguity with the entries so if you have no real experience in the market then you will have a set of rules to place the trade which are easy to follow.
If you have been burnt before by people selling c**p on the internet then don’t let this one pass you by placing it into the same category as the others. This is a real working pro’s strategy that will make you money if followed correctly. The odds are in your favour and there are enough winners to out-perform the losers.

We have built a reputation for being honest and genuine, and such feedback from our customers is a testament to that. A final point to make regarding our performance figures is that we make absolutely no assurances that our past performance will be any guarantee of future performance.
