Simple moving averages question

Hi,

I'm a newbie using Sharescope and displaying 10 & 40 week simple moving averages on a candlestick chart.

One thing that is puzzling me is that if I move the cursor left->right on the graph, the moving average figures displayed in the graph legend change on mondays but the actual moving average graph lines change on wednesdays.

The reason I'm asking is that for waiting for intersections between the moving averages, should I use the displayed figures or wait till the lines graphically cross ? (i.e. there could be 2 days slippage). I've asked Sharescope about this but no answer yet, anyone have any ideas?

...post a chart....that may explain more....in sharescope I think that there is a facility to shift the MA's by days...just check that has not happened...
