sending funds to us broker

hi.

I need advice what's the cheapest option to fund a trading account in us from uk? i'm with natwest and they charge 20gbp for transfer and convert gbp into usd with rate of 1.5300 so it cost me about 70 gbp to send 5000usd. is there a better option to do it. how do u guys send funds?

Depending on the currency fluctuation, you might get hit on the lame conversion rate. Also the Broker might stick you with the 3% transaction fee.
