Hi all,

Any recommendations for screen recording software?
Software to use as audit-trails for screen/account snapshots.
Also, to use as teaching aids, possibly.
For laptops, desktops.

Hope you're all making good money.
thanks

Hiya Trendie,
Hope you are well.
I've always found Camtasia good. I don't remember ever having to pay for it so there well might be a free version and that's the one I've used.
Best wishes,
Richard

snagit - which can record short videos and screen grabs with amazing editing options. They also do a more premium screen recording software but it doesn't do screen shots

It depends of what operation system do you use..

(thanks for other replies. will check out camtasia, thanks Mr Charts)

Currently using a Lenovo laptop, running Windows10!
Yeah, I know!
(Perhaps I should buy a new laptop first.)

Need something that just plugs in, behaves itself, and can store/stream any files, etc, to an external drive.
Don't mind paying for it, if it ensures I dont get any pop-up adds after a few weeks.

I don't use any Apple products.

I always use Camtasia for screen recording. It has an easy interface and also easy to understand and also very easy to work.
