Just had an amuzing message from a US trader who wanted to know if I lived in the real Scotland in Pennsylvania or "the one in England":smart:

I once convinced an American that in the UK, due to an eccentric former king, we do not have Wednesdays, but two Tuesdays instead - i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Tuesday, Thursday...

She loved our quaint little differences.

I met 2 american girls a few years back and one of them thought wales was "somewhere in england." I thought it was in my long term interests "not" to play the :smart: and correct her 😉.


Nothing will beat my Las vegas lap dance club experience though for tumbleweed moment 😱.I've told this b4 here i'm sure so to tell the same story twice in forum land is surely a little sad.....
But anyway, this fit strippa asks me and my buddy where we are from. He says new zealand, i say England. She says "Oh really, (sounds interested and mildly enthused)?! What language do they speak there?"

I was slightly confused by the question, and looked over my shoulder - presuming she was speaking to someone else. When i realised there was no one else behind me, i apologetically had to say - "English".
She quickly realised her fundamental oversight, and all parties were keen to move move the converstation onwards.
