Do people use scanning software in here so that they can scan for stocks which match their trading criteria e.g stocks which are at an important MA or stocks with a certain candlestick setup etc...

Does anyone know of any good free sites where u can do this sort of thing. I like the look of something called TC1000 I think which scans stocks for you. N E 1 know of something like that, but free of charge???

There are quite a few stock screening sites around, although it depends on what type of screening you want to do. Worden Brothers' TC2000 program is excellent for US stocks; www.tc2000.com

Here's some stock screening sites from my Favourites Folder - you'll need to root around and change the search criteria though:

There's a few to keep you busy! :D
