SB firms with fixed commossions

Are there any SpreadBet firms charging a fixed commission for trades and tight spreads. ?

Thats a nice sentiment but not actually true. You try lighting one candle from another without losing wax from the first - its far from easy.

The candle to be lit should be held above the one that has a flame, that way there is no loss of wax if executed correctly....Its all about the correct timing and knowing when the candle has a good enough flame to carrying on burning.

1 point on the dow and 0.1 on S&P futures 0.5 on the footsie 1 tick on euro/dollar.
The costs of doing business for me is just under £2 per trip ( open,close)

Spreadbetting is ok for smaller sizes, however its a expensive way to to business.

On the flip side, its better to make £500--10,000 per week SBetting than working a JOB in the rat race.

Under £10 per point SB Anything over that size Direct Market Access.

I have an a/c with IB and I try FTSE but I feel I could do better If I donot have to pay £10 per point. That is why fixed commission but liberty to vary amount per point. I agree SB is very expensive for larger values per point. I wish there was a futures broker who would offer variable amount per point.
