I suspect you are doing something wrong. You mentioned in your last post - 'better to go with eTrade'. Just so you know, eTrade use Saxobank's technology. They just have it rebadged..
I said "I GUESS"...because at least...anyway, a few more points:
1. Not that I am bragging or something - but I'm an award winning programmer and not only that but actually even develop on the same language saxo work with (that is: c#, asp.net, etc...). Kinda unusual that i might be havin' problems with the firewall, isn't it?
2. I tried to place 5 orders ith them - each of which a market order and each of which taking a looooooooooong time (30 minutes) or so before i finally cancel it. I also tryed from 2 computers on 2 different connections. Ah...an last but not least - a few months ago a friend who was using some of their "white label" partherships - had a similar problems.
3. They are yet to reply to my e-mails. When I called them finally, they forwarded me to another number and then the guy explained that "it seems to be a technical issue" (well...you bet your stupid as it is). Later however the evil scammers finally found how to defend their sinister plan
- I got an email from them saying that "i've cancelled my orders before execution" - which is again just beyond absurd.
4. I have experience with their demo platform for a long time.
Funny, my brother is even laughing at me now that i've trust them with $12,000 minimum deposit. I know it's 10k - but i've placed a little more for fees and etc. I am not even sure i am able to get my money back at the moment
.
They are plain scammers. If you don't believe me - google "saxobank reviews" - there are hundreds of people accusing them in fraud and etc. My mistake is that i've trust them only 'cause their platform claims to be "award winning" etc.
But their just too irrospinsible for my own judgement. I haven't used etrade - fair enogh. But i have used barclays cfd cimulator, HSBC offshore share dealing and saxo are the only "not so big bank" that i've decided to give a try - and see what happens...
well yeah - sorry for the rant :smart: - but you see my points i hope.
