I wonder if anyone is using Robert Hoffman's system? I'm watching his videos on youtube, and am interested in what his system is before buying his products.

Never heard of him, can not give you any opinion. he's an educater though, not a system provider apparently...
 
He is the real deal. In some of his webinars, he trades live, and boy do you wish he would trade your account ! He is indeed an educator, and a very good one at that. All of his YouTube videos are already quite a huge free knowledge base and well worth spending the time watching them. I purchased 2 of his videos and had never spent money in a better way. first real trade paid off for those videos alone.
He made me the trader that I am now, go watch everything you can.
 
hes a great salesman who gets a commission from everyone who signs up with his recommended broker. He says he doesnt get paid for you joining them, he doesnt, just commissions on your trades.I will check through his stuff, but he doesnt look any different from all the other so called legends.

Thank you for your info! I've been thinking about getting a video. If I were to get only one, which one would you recommend?
 
I'm following him for several months. Now he is introduced to Tradeguider, which embrased his indicators. A very stong couple! It costs some quid a month, but you get worth for your money. Never saw a teacher make so many positive trades ( 6 month daily and only 1 failure!) on his own real money account!! And not small ones!! So put some time in his techniques, and make solid profits
 
Has someone have som digi stuff to learn from? Youtube is ok, but learning stuff is better.

Hoffman blew up today. He had Martingaled short about 852 TF contracts and was down about $250K when the system (He uses Infinity) locked the account and closed his position. Total loss about $312K as I guess the Infinity system closed him out with a market order..

I think his ego got to him. There were many times during the 1 1/2 hours he was in the trade that he could have gotten out with a small loss or profit in the $3K to $5K range. He has a number of trend indicators that were all showing down and getting worse, but he ignored them, though he almost never mentions them when he trades.

To top things off he then had to leave for a three hour dental procedure. "

are all these trades taken in real time without any delay

he uses martingale?
OMG blow out is a certainty. It is only a matter of time.
I wonder what hurts more? the blow out? or the dental work?

p.s. anybody who uses martingale has no business in the trader education business. It is a form of betting, you are depending on luck, not fact.
 
of course he can trade live account and he can blow his account ..because all that money come from people that signed up for his live trading room..and payimg montly fees.

don't forget he's doing also the right things for many months to learn from!!
 
Most people who offer all these learning courses make profit on selling their books and disks and rarely on Forex trading.
 
Hi, I did see his programm and his trades for several weeks, and also saw him trading 1 year without 1 loss. real money, real arguements etc etc, and ofcourse, he made some bucks with his room and software... that's how the world works. I can not beat him with his trades. So do stop arguing, that's he is not real in trading. this is one of the few, we have to listen to, and learn. Also from his 1 mistake in a year,(y)
 
Anyone still using his methods? Just participated in a webinar and liked what I saw. Plus he has won some live trading contests - which is great proof that he is a "doer" not just a teacher. So unless those competitions are somehow rigged (extremely hard for me to believe), one has to give him a bunch of credit.

I would not mind chatting to some of the folks who are successful traders because of him.
 
IS that the guy who blew up his account and lost 300k trading one contract?
 
Someone has mentioned this in one of the comments to this post. Interestingly enough, during the webinar Rob himself acknowledged some big loses during his career - one of this magnitude (likely the same trade). I look at the flip side - who lets people watch such loses live or speaks about them openly afterwards? This is in fact something that gives me confidence - and yes, I do realize it may sound counterintuitive at first.
