it is a load of rubbish, they only surveyed 44 traders.

It's a well known phenomenon and has something to do with levels of testosterone in the womb. If I remember right, a long ring finger is also associated with heart disease in later life, or something like that. From years ago I got the impression that short ring finger = bellicose neanderthal, long = effete intellectual. Or was it the other way round, I forget. But it's definitely a real thing - women are sometimes encouraged to size up potential mates in that regard.

My longest finger is the one in the middle... which incidently is the one i use to show people what I think of their ridiculous so called scientific findings... Obviously now the IB's will include a finger measurment on their aptitude tests...
