The key issue with selecting a printer is the ongoing cost of ink cartridges. Based on that never consider a Lexmark (cheap to buy and a fortune for new cartridges), and I agree with a320 that the Epson Stylus is pretty good and cartridges are reasonably priced. I recently bought one for £40 and it has been more than adequate for my needs.

I'm thinking of getting a EPSON Stylus C64 Printer
