Can you help?

A close friend on mine attained railway bonds sometime ago, they were issued by the US government and are backed by gold. They are very old (over 100 years I believe) and he is looking for a buyer that would be interested? What advice could I give him?

Get a nice frame and hang them on the wall, that is all they are worth
