FYI - QuoteTracker now has full support for MoneyAM datafeed for UK symbols, including Level I, Level II and backfill.

MoneyAM support is available in the beta version of QuoteTracker:
http://www.quotetracker.com/beta

It works with all MoneyAM subscription levels including the free one, though if you have the Free or or "Premier" subscription, the datafeed is limited, so it will get interupted. We recommend at least the "Active" subscription for Level I datafeed.

Hi Jerry,

I updated quotetracker and entered my moneyam details but can't seem to log in.

if you have an account there that was created prior to last week, go to the site and change the password, then update the password in QuoteTracker. That should take care of the problem.

Thanks Jerry,

I did get it too work but it seems to have messed up my charts when I switch back to the Interactive Brokers feed. IB don't have backfill and I think that might have something to do with it but I am probably wrong.

Is it possible to run two versions of Quotetracker on the same PC? I would like to keep my US trading separate from UK trading. It would also avoid having to switch data feeds.

Thanks for all the great updates. The translucent charts have been very useful.

BB,

You can use a different data provider to get backfill as opposed to realtime data. The way I have mine setup is that I have IQ for realtime charts, money.net for Level II and IB for ES all in one application running. You need to open the watch list and set it to different data provider to work.

No Deal Desk Forex Broker?

This might interest you forex fans - it uses Qoutetracker.

Note; I have not used this fIrm and therefore cannot comment on their competitiveness etc - but I did notice you can place a trade WITHOUT -(NO DEAL DESK) - going through a broker
( bit like Oanda I suppose)

That would most likely mean QT is unable to connect to the server. Are you using any software firewall? Or, are you connecting to the internet through a proxy server?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am using a stand-alone PC with ZoneAlarm. Are there any specific changes I need to make to ZA? Normally, when a new programme attempts to connect to the net, I get a warning from ZA....can't recall a warning in the case of QT.

Looking forward to your reply as I am keen to resolve this.

Thanks,
Lal

You have to give STOCKS.EXE (Thats the QuoteTracker executable) full access. You can check if it has basic access by selecting OPPTIONS/WebUpdate menu in QT. If it gives an error, then access is being blocked.

If still a problem, email QuoteTracker support. we can give you logging instructions so we will be able to see what the exact problem is.

Hi Jerry,

As advised, went into ZA and setup access permission for STOCKS.EXE. Worked immediately!

Thank you for your kind help.

Regards,
Lal
